Keval Baxi – CEO of Codal – is known to restore to all kinds of tactics- be it lying, fabricating, impersonating or threatening – to further his business. Today we shall tell you how Keval Baxi used his muscular posture -aided by legal convolutions – to “intimidate” Clutch to take down that review written by us about Codal.

The facts are as follows:

On February 14, 2025, we posted on X (previously known as Twitter) that: “We are glad to inform that Clutch – a reputed online review platform has published our review (essentially very bad experience) about Codal @Gocodal. We appreciate the diligence Clutch does to verify the reviewer.” Link to Tweet.

Thank you for leaving a review on Clutch. This is a notice that the service provider has formally disputed your review on the claim that they never entered a contract with you or rendered services to you. As such, your review has been marked as Under Dispute on the service provider’s profile.

In order to keep your review published, please reply to this email with proof of your project with Codal. Please provide at least two of the following materials:

  • Signed contract
  • Proof of payment
  • Screenshots of communication with the service provider
  • Screenshots of wireframes
  • Signed proposals

If you cannot provide those materials, we are able to consider any documents that showcase your engagement with the service provider.

Please note that if this proof is not provided within 2 weeks (no later than February 28th,2025), your review will be subject to removal.

Thank you for your cooperation in this matter.

Best,

Clutch Reports Team

Hi Team Clutch:
Thank you for your message.Upon Codal’s “claim that they never entered a contract with you or rendered services to you.” I have to state that Codal and its CEO are telling blatant lies. The case is so open and shut, since everything is in public domain due to the fact that We- at Same Condition- had to drag them to the court. So here are 3 proofs (though 2 are sufficient as stipulated by you)  that I am attaching for your reference:1. Signed Contract between Codal and SameCondition

2. Signed Scope of work (SOW) between Codal and Same Condition

Note: The attached single document has both included: Signed Contract and SOW. In other words, points 1 and 2 are documented in one single attachment that I have attached here. 3. Proof or payment: screen shots are given below.

However, to our surprise, Clutch rather than taking the next logical steps, REMOVED our review against Codal. This was the communication we received from them on Feb 18,2025:

Thank you for reaching out and for sending along these materials, as well as for your patience during this process. We are writing to inform you that we have received a legal notice that requires us to remove the review, and as such, it will no longer appear on the provider’s profile.

For more information on our review eligibility and removal processes, please reference our Terms of Service.

So, Codal prevailed upon Clutch. Long are the arms of rogue Keval Baxi with nefarious tendencies and slush of money to coerce and intimidate others. This is the conclusion, we derived from this.

However, dismayed, we wrote this to Clucth:

Thank you for your response. This is hurtful and unjust that you removed our review about Codal. Please re-consider as we are not violating any rules, nor you are bound by that legal notice to remove the review. The legal notice – we have not seen- is not binding on you as you are an independent party.

Clutch was not bound to reply to this message. But they were courteous enough to reply to us. Their reply:Thank you for your response and patience. We apologize for the frustration this has caused. We will refer you to our Terms of Service, which state:

“You further acknowledge and agree that we reserve the right, in our sole discretion, to reject, move, edit, or remove any User Content that is contributed to the Services for any reason or no reason, but we do not assume the obligation.”

With this in mind, unfortunately, at this point, the review will remain unpublished.

Final Thoughts: So here you see the rogue and unethical practices on behalf of Chicgao-based Codal and its CEO Mr Keval BAxi. However, we are more than determined to keep seeking justice from the cruel clutches of Keval Baxi and his company Codal.
